DigVentures is a UK-based social business that designs and delivers collaborative archaeology projects and experiences, using crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and digital technology to increase opportunities for the public to participate in archaeological research. As Managing Director, Lisa focuses her energy harnessing brilliant creative sector techniques and innovations for the heritage sector, including pioneering a new business model combining alternative funding, citizen science and the experience economy. Prior to DigVentures, she worked for a decade in New York City in communications and finance, and in 2011, was appointed the first-ever Clore Leadership Fellow in Heritage and Conservation. More recently, she was the Project Manager for the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games 2012 Cultural Olympiad evaluation.
